The product emits 5.8 GHz high frequency radio waves to the environment and senses the reflections. The deviations in reflections due to movements are sensed and if certain conditions are met, the microprocessor triggers the relay. Contrary to PIR sensors which only sense humans/warm bodies or in more general term, IR wave emitting objects; HF Radar sensor senses anything that moves.
